Hikvision DS-7332HQHI-K4 is a 32-channel CCTV DVR capable of recording surveillance video in HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, CVBS and IP standards. The 32 channels can record images from 4 MP Lite (1280 x 1440), 1080p or 720p cameras at 15 fps. In the case of channels 1, 2, 3 and 4, the maximum recording resolution is 3 MP @ 15 fps. For VGA / WD1 / 4CIF / CIF resolutions, the maximum frame rate goes up to 25 fps. Additionally, the DVR can support up to 8 IP cameras (if the analog channels are switched off, the number of IP channels can be increased to 40)..
Can also support 4MP analogue cameras but only on channels 1 to 8
Don't forget that all Hikvision DVRs are now hybrid, meaning they can accept BNC type analogue cameras and IP cameras which have Ethernet type connection and use CAT5e cable. You will need a separate PoE switch if you wish to use IP cameras on any channel of the DS-7332HQHI-K4
This 32 channel Hikvisdion DVR can accept 2 hard drives at 10Tb each. We recommend you use Seagate surveillance or Western Digital Purple hard drives.

DVR to Cameras Connection Diagram
HD video signals transfer over coax cables to the DVR (Digital Video Recorder). HD Camera are powered by plugging in the power supply. The DVR then converts the analog signal to digital, compresses it then stores it on a Hard Disk. The information is built into the DVR to handle scheduling, motion detection and digital zooming. To view the footage, monitors are connected to the DVR or you could use an internal network for viewing on PCs. DVR's can also be set up to broadcast over the internet and set up to be password protected. The video for all of the cameras are transmitted as one stream, one IP address.
