Hikvision DS-7232HQHI-K2 is a fourth-generation Turbo 4 DVR with 32 Hikvision CCTV camera inputs ( AKA 32 channels ). These cameras can be from a different manufacturer and video format as the DS-7232HQHI-K2 can support all 4 formats for analogue CCTV which are TVI ( Turbo HD ) AHD, CVI and old CVBS using BNC type connectors.

Can also support 3MP analogue cameras but only on channels 1 to 4.

Don't forget that all Hikvision DVRs are now hybrid, meaning they can accept BNC type analogue cameras and IP cameras which have Ethernet type connection and use CAT5e cable. You will need a separate PoE switch if you wish to use IP cameras on any channel of the DS-7232HQHI-K2.

This 32 channel Hikvisdion DVR can accept 2 hard drives at 10Tb each. We recommend you use Seagate surveillance or Western Digital Purple hard drives.

HD video signals transfer over coax cables to the DVR (Digital Video Recorder). HD Camera are powered by plugging in the power supply. The DVR then converts the analog signal to digital, compresses it then stores it on a Hard Disk. The information is built into the DVR to handle scheduling, motion detection and digital zooming. To view the footage, monitors are connected to the DVR or you could use an internal network for viewing on PCs. DVR's can also be set up to broadcast over the internet and set up to be password protected. The video for all of the cameras are transmitted as one stream, one IP address.
